Steel maces are a versatile tool, perfect for warm-ups, rehab, shoulder mobility or an entire functional strength workout. Their disproportionate weight distribution allows you to challenge your core and stabilise your muscles. Changing your grip position impacts how much core activation is required. Our macebells have a 4cm handle diameter, which is suitable for a wide variety of hand sizes and helpful for building grip strength over time.

Description

  • 105 cm high (standing upright)

Frequently Asked Questions

What muscle groups can I work using a macebell?

Macebells help you build muscle across a number of your body’s planes, thanks to their uneven weight distribution. This means your core has to work hard to stabilise itself. You’ll build rotational power around your obliques, as well as the shoulder mobility that comes with the swinging motion. You’ll also improve your grip strength, which is great for anyone who’s working towards pull-ups and muscle-ups, or is interested in rock climbing.

What weight of macebell should I choose?

A lower weight is going to be, of course, less challenging: most beginners with some weight training experience will find a 6 kg mace to be a solid starting point. As your shoulder strength and stability improve, you can move onto higher weights, with 8 kg and 10 kg being designed for more experienced athletes.

What areas do you deliver to?

We service the South East Queensland area with our personalised delivery service, but can freight to anywhere you need within Australia. Get in touch with us for any delivery-related queries you might have.
